Aboutus About Certilate

Built by translatorswho do this work.

Certilate was created by certified translators who spent years watching clients struggle to get official documents translated properly. We built the service we wished existed.

FrenchEnglish Why we built it

Three things were broken.

We saw them from inside the profession, on document after document.

The credentials were invisible

No way to verify who was actually certified — or whether they were.

The pricing was a guess

Quotes that moved after you committed. Dates that were only estimates.

Nobody owned the outcome

When a document came back rejected, it became your problem, not theirs.

We built the opposite of that.

ChineseEnglish How we think

What we won’t compromise on.

Honesty before the sale

The price before you pay. The date before you commit.

Built for a stressful moment

Visa deadlines, court dates, applications in motion. We design for that.

Accountability past delivery

An order isn’t closed until your document is accepted.

Human work, human oversight

Software runs the process. Certified people do the translation.

Privacy is not negotiable

Encrypted, access-controlled, and deleted on request.

Put our standards to work on your document.

Fixed quote in minutes, and you approve every name before anything is certified.

About the company

Who is behind Certilate?
Certilate is built and run by certified translators working in the field, based in Canada. Every standard we hold our translator network to is one we work to ourselves.
Where is Certilate based?
Canada. We serve filings with Canadian and US authorities, as well as courts, universities, credential bodies and consulates.
Does Certilate use machine translation?
No. Every certified translation is produced by a certified human translator and reviewed by a second linguist. Software runs the process — the translation and the certification are human work.
Who actually translates my document?
A certified translator working in your specific language pair, certified by a recognised provincial association such as ATIO or ATIA and verified before joining the network.
